From the beginning, God has linked love for Him with His word. The more of God's word that we keep in front of us on a regular basis, the greater our chances of loving and obeying our great God. Besides the regular preaching services, Valley View focuses on getting adults into God's word through the Sunday School hour, and through smaller Bible studies.
Adult Sunday School  During this school year, in the Sunday School hour, our adults are going through the Life of Christ. Join us for this study that is designed to help us get a handle on the life of the One who reconciles us to God, that we might live unto God. The adult Sunday School class meets at 9:30 every Sunday morning in the church auditorium. Young Marrieds 
Currently, our young marrieds are studying the ministry of Elijah during the Sunday School hour. If you are newly married, or have preschool children, join us for this encouraging study about standing alone with God through the storms of life. The Young Marrieds Sunday School class meets at 9:30 every Sunday morning in the classroom across from the nurseries.  Ladies' Bible Study  Every other week our ladies get together in small groups to examine God's expectations of godly women, mothers, wives and widows. This study is uniquely cross-generational, allowing the younger women to glean from the perspectives of the older women of the church in a Titus 2 relationship. Currently, we are going through two different studies by Beth Moore, Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman and Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruits of the Spirit. The ladies' Bible studies meet every other week in homes. (See calendar for dates) Please contact Colleen Weberg to be matched up with a group. |
