At Valley View, "Scripture is our content; culture is our context." With this goal in mind, we seek to teach and preach God's word expositionally. Richard Mayhue explains expository preaching this way: Exposition presupposes an exegetical process (i.e., the study and interpretation of the text):
To extract the God-intended meaning of Scripture, and
An explanation of that meaning in a contemporary way.
In other words, at Valley View, God's Word still matters . . . TODAY!
