Ryan Weberg, Pastor
Pastor Weberg was born into a Christian family in southern Minnesota, and was saved at the age of three, when his mother presented to him John 3:16, substituting his own name for "whosoever." Though he grew up attending a Christian school, ministry was not his focus, until as a junior in high school, he tore his ACL at a soccer tournament. Sidelined from an entire season of basketball, he realized that sports had become his god. After knee surgery and several months of therapy, he went with his youth group on a mission trip to work with the Apache Indians in Fort Thomas, Arizona. It was during that week that he realized the joy of Christian ministry, and it was at the end of that week that he surrendered to a life of full-time Christian service. Since then, God has given him a desire to pastor, serving three years as a youth pastor in central PA, and one year as pastor of Valley View Bible Church.
Ryan, and his wife, Colleen, are the proud parents of five children: Kyle, Caleb, Kimberly, Caressa, and Kailey. Pastor Weberg holds a B.A. from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (Owatonna, MN), and a M.Div. from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary (Lansdale, PA), where he is currently enrolled in the Th.M. program.
Dan Kirby, Deacon
Dan and his wife Kim both grew up locally in the Indian Valley; Dan in Telford and Kim in Harleysville. Dan was raised by godly parents and was taught God’s Word from an early age. He and Kim met at their work place when they were in their early 20’s. They attended church together soon after they started dating. It was not until they started to attend Valley View in 1990, that they both realized their need for a personal savior, and were both led to the Lord by Pastor Charlie Graff. Dan and Kim have both been members of Valley View since 1992, and have served in many areas. Dan has served as both youth leader and a deacon. Kim has filled many roles as well, including Sunday school teacher and nursery coordinator.
Dan & Kim have four children: Carolyn, Jessica, Sean and Daniel.Bill Hulshizer, Deacon
Bill and Jane Hulshizer were both raised in Philadelphia attending the same church and led to the Lord by godly parents, who also had a major influence in their love for the Lord and desire to serve Him. They were married in 1966 and worked as house parents in homes located in NC and PA for approximately four years. Jane was educated as a medical technician while Bill is an accountant and worked at various Merck locations for 28 years prior to taking early retirement in 2003. Both Bill and Jane have taught the Bible over the past 40 years. Bill has been a deacon, treasurer, and Christian school board director for most of those years. Jane home-schooled their two daughters.
Bill and Jane have three married children: Todd and his wife Tina; Elizabeth and her husband Paul; and Margaret and her husband Tim. They have four grandchildren.
